English Language Lessons for Juniors in Sofia
Juniors 9-14 years old with three levels
- Elementary (CEF A1)
- Pre-intermediate (CEF A2)
- Intermediate (CEF B1)
- Monday to Friday – 2 x 2 hours per week 10.30-12.30; 2.15-4.15 and 4.30-6.30
Saturday – 4 hours 09.00-13.00
Juniors develop and consolidate their language and communication skills. Courses are based on course books with stimulating supplementary material to support topics covered in class. Juniors use English for daily situations, speaking about school, sports, hobbies and interests with emphasis paid to correct pronunciation. They also work on developing their writing skills through a variety of tasks. Juniors will be able to
- Join in discussions without preparation on familiar topics
- Give reasons and explanations
- narrate an event and understand main points when listening to native speakers
- understand descriptions of feelings and wishes
- write personal letters describing experiences and impressions
