Paul has over 13 years experience teaching a wide variety of courses specifically designed to clients’ needs. Furthermore his wide management experience, working with some of Ireland’s leading retailers, alongside having run his own retail business enables Paul to bridge practical application and theory. His work experience helps him to bring a real-life experience into the class/training room. He has also taught with various other leading language schools in Sofia before joining us. He holds a First Degree in History and Education, from the New University of Ulster, a Post Graduate Diploma in English Language Teaching, a Business English Certificate from LBCCI as well as City and Guilds certificates in Marketing and Finance for business. Paul has wide-spread experience of teaching Business, Financial and Legal English both in Hungary and here in Bulgaria while working with some of Bulgaria’s leading national and multi-national companies. Paul has also run many Business English related and Teacher training courses and workshops during his time here in Bulgaria. Paul is currently teaching Financal English to accountants in Bulgaria as well as running Business English courses for leading multi-national companies. When not teaching with International House Sofia Paul is lecturing in Sofia University, St. Kliment Ohridski, English Language Department where he is running a course in Irish Studies. Here he played host to the President of Ireland during her Bulgarian visit in March 2009. He has also been invited as a guest onto various Bulgarian Television shows to discuss Irish issues. He is a member of the Irish Bulgarian Business Network.
